Lizard Ales is a craft brewery based in St Keverne on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, mainland Britain’s most southerly point. Since 2004 we have been producing a range of cask and bottled real ales. We produce quality Cornish ales, brewed using the best quality traditional ingredients.

Leonora Nattrass - Elvis fan and former university lecturer in English literature, Leonora is in charge of our bottle business.

Mark Nattrass - Ex litigation solicitor and lifelong Newcastle United season ticket holder (now on indefinite loan), Mark is in charge of our cask business.

Richard Martin Cornish born and bred - Lizard Ales was Richard’s brain-child. Richard is a leading marine surveyor.

Lizard Ales is based in one of the most beautiful and also one of the most remote parts of the country. We’re a long way from pretty much everywhere, so we concentrate on distributing in West Cornwall. We distribute regularly throughout Cornwall west of Truro.

Our business has thrived because we provide a good quality product at a competitive price, and we look after our customers. We aim to deliver orders in West Cornwall within 3 days – and if there’s a beer emergency we’ll pull out the stops to get there sooner!

We can arrange cask deliveries further afield if required.

Bottle deliveries through the remainder of Cornwall are dealt with by Plough to Plate.

We also have a full retail licence and sell casks and bottles direct from the brewery.
